GROWING CLOSER TO GOD
Many people know about God, but still feel distant from Him. They may go to church, hear Scripture, and understand what they are supposed to believe, but it can still feel like something is missing. This is because knowing about God is not the same as having a real relationship with Him.
A relationship with God is personal. It is not built on routine or just doing the “right” things. It grows through time, honesty, and consistency. Just like any relationship, it requires communication, trust, and effort. This means taking time to talk to God, listen, and be real about where you are.
One of the biggest mistakes people make is thinking they have to be perfect before coming to God. In reality, growth starts when you come as you are. You do not need to have all the answers or everything figured out. What matters is your willingness to show up and be open.
Spending time in the Word, praying, and reflecting helps build that connection over time. Even when it feels small or simple, it still matters. Those consistent moments begin to shape your understanding and strengthen your faith.
Growing closer to God is not about pressure or performance. It is about building a genuine connection that impacts how you think, live, and respond to life. Over time, that relationship becomes stronger and more real.
You are not meant to stay distant. You are invited into something deeper.
